Kae and The RageHey y’all. Here’s another snippet from my upcoming young adult romance “Kae and The Rage” out this month. This picks up where last week’s blog left off. Let me know what you think!

So, Billy played. There was a model, a funny blond with huge brown eyes and dark, thick brows. She had a mouth like candy and a throat like rubber. They had a lot of fun for a few months, but she had a wandering eye too, and his interest waned when hers did, though she professed an interest in sticking around. Kae and The RageHey, guys. I’m on my way to see Endgame. Finally. I’ve been waiting for this and dodging spoilers like you wouldn’t believe. But I didn’t forget to blog this week *pats self on the back*  My next young adult title Kae and The Rage will be out this month. Here’s an unedited snippet that continues from my last blog. Let me know what you think. Oh, and if you guys read my last release How to Love a Pink Demon and liked it, please leave me a great review on Amazon. I hate to beg, but it looks so unloved. Thank you!

“You sound bitter, B.”

“I bloody well am. I feel like he’s got my balls in a vise, and I want out.” Continue reading “What to do when your best friend the rock star wants to act like Florence Nightingale”

I forgot to blog last week. WTF? Bad writer! Sorry guys. But I am determined to publish another book in the next few weeks. Here’s another unedited snippet from my next effort. It picks up where my last blog left off. And to make up for being an absentee blogger, how about a cover and title reveal in a few days? Just so you know your girl means business. *winks*

He was across the room in an instant, gently wrapping his tall, good-smelling self around her. She sighed happily. He was like a warm, comforting barrier between her and the pain that was slowly driving her crazy. Is it weird that I always want more action?

Hey y’all. Is it weird that I crave action in books? I want ash to be happening constantly. If it’s not I legit move on. I think it’s related to my love of action movies. But it makes for interesting writing. Somebody’s always getting hurt, physically or mentally, ‘cuz I gotta keep ish poppin’! Lemme go sit my geeked behind down somewhere. Can you tell I’m trying not to swear? Here’s an unedited snippet where last week’s blog left off. Lemme know what you think!

“Good! I’ll call you later to see where you are. They wanna start soon. Love you!”

Kae stared at the buzzing phone and shook her head. She already knew what was gonna happen. She’d be firm and resolute, he’d rebut. Then she’d whine and complain, and her brother would present every possible benefit. He’d wear her down with pluses while downplaying every minus, and eventually she’d cave. G didn’t come to her with projects very often, but when he did he went in. It was annoying how infrequently she won arguments with him. Continue reading “Is it weird that I always want more action?”

She’s seriously much better in my head. We’re talking the black, female Jason Bourne sans … Continue reading How to Love a Pink Demon is now live! Steele: Business and money should never be personal.

PINK_Demon_FinalHi guys –

I’m determined to release this sucker next week, so I can move on to my next project. I gotta speed up production! I’m also going to officially move my blog posting date to Saturday. Wednesday hasn’t happened in awhile, and backdating is lame. So, we’ll see how I do. Meantime, here’s another snippet where the last one leaves off. Let me know what you think!

Tommy called later to confirm she’d come tomorrow to meet Miles and sign the papers.

“That soon?”

“Yup. He’s the no time like the present type, likes to keep busy. You’ll like him.”

Steele raised a brow. She didn’t like anybody. Continue reading “Steele: Business and money should never be personal.”

Be careful asking for what you want. You just might get it.

PINK_Demon_FinalI am driving myself nuts. I haven’t published anything in so long, I’m having major anxiety about publishing this book. I keep thinking it needs this, it needs that. Arrrghhh! I have gotta cut the cord. Until I do, here’s another snippet for you where the last one leaves off…

XOXO,

SS

Tommy laughed. “I know, it sounds typical, but he’s a big name over there. And he’s not doing bad since he branched out over here either. The Hollywood Foreign Press said he’s got the Midas touch, talent and the ability to not only pick great roles, but ones that increase his star power exponentially with each and every film.”

“You sound like his American press agent.” Continue reading “Be careful asking for what you want. You just might get it.”
