She smiled, but he saw the pain as he gently supported her short walk to the bath. “Need help?” She chuckled softly. “Stop sounding hopeful, buddy. I can handle it from here.”

Hey y’all. I had my first Starbucks drink ever a few days ago. Caramel Ribbon frap. What the hell did I do that for. It was soooo good. Now I’m craving them shits like crack. Bad business, man because I am not about to develop a $6+ coffee drink habit. But that joint was sooo to my taste, for real!

Speaking of sweet, our boy Billy is still hot on Kae’s bumper. In this unedited snippet which picks up where last week’s blog left off, he’s trying to take on some rather personal duties a la Florence Nightingale…hope you enjoy! No matter who Billy dated, it was never Kae, so it was never right.

Kae and The RageHey y’all. Here’s another snippet from my upcoming young adult romance “Kae and The Rage” out this month. This picks up where last week’s blog left off. Let me know what you think!

So, Billy played. There was a model, a funny blond with huge brown eyes and dark, thick brows. She had a mouth like candy and a throat like rubber. They had a lot of fun for a few months, but she had a wandering eye too, and his interest waned when hers did, though she professed an interest in sticking around. It worked. He made sure every bit of him was touching every bit of her back, and his body heat seemed to neutralize the shivering while her inflamed body soaked up the cool relief. Continue reading “All that glitters ain’t gold. The world sees beauty, but Billy knew the beast”

What to do when an old love doesn’t want to let go, and the new love isn’t sure she should hold on

Kae and The RagePeace. I’m getting close on this one, y’all. It will be out this month. This blog snippet picks up where last weeks left off. Billy’s inspecting Kae’s injuries and making the opening move in his bid for her hand – getting rid of an old entanglement. Let me know what you think.

She pushed down the sheet, and he whistled.

“Bloody fans,” he muttered, ghosting fingers over the dark, ugly bruise that covered nearly the entire side of her left thigh. “And here!” He touched the bruises on her left shoulder and arm.

“Cute, huh?” She joked. “You should see under my shirt.” Continue reading “What to do when an old love doesn’t want to let go, and the new love isn’t sure she should hold on”

Is it weird that I always want more action?

Hey y’all. Is it weird that I crave action in books? I want ash to be happening constantly. If it’s not I legit move on. I think it’s related to my love of action movies. But it makes for interesting writing. Somebody’s always getting hurt, physically or mentally, ‘cuz I gotta keep ish poppin’! Lemme go sit my geeked behind down somewhere. Can you tell I’m trying not to swear? Here’s an unedited snippet where last week’s blog left off. Lemme know what you think!

“Good! I’ll call you later to see where you are. They wanna start soon. Love you!”

Kae stared at the buzzing phone and shook her head. She already knew what was gonna happen. She’d be firm and resolute, he’d rebut. Then she’d whine and complain, and her brother would present every possible benefit. He’d wear her down with pluses while downplaying every minus, and eventually she’d cave. G didn’t come to her with projects very often, but when he did he went in. It was annoying how infrequently she won arguments with him. Continue reading “Is it weird that I always want more action?”

One book releases, the next one goes into production – in a completely different genre. #writinglife

How to Love a Pink Demon erotic paranormal interracial romance novelSo How to Love a Pink Demon is out! I’ve already started editing my next release. It will be completely different, a new adult romance, still interracial, but there will be no paranormal activity. Just a good old-fashioned romance, this one set in the music world. I’ve always loved the virgin romance tropes – I mean who wants whorish lead characters? Although sometimes that can be fun… – but hopefully I’ve managed to add a little humor to this oldie but goodie.

My heroine Kae has known our hero Billy for years. They are members of the hottest, biggest girl and boy groups in the world. Their love story will detail a specific point in her life – she’s injured while embarking on her first solo project – and it will be part of a series.

Here’s an unedited snippet for you. Let me know what you think! Continue reading “One book releases, the next one goes into production – in a completely different genre. #writinglife”
