Tunie and Charlie would make love to this…I’m getting close to the end, y’all. Charlie and Tunie are ready to have that big reveal … let me know what you think of this unedited snippet…
“You don’t understand. I wanted you to let me keep you outright, with no arrangement between us. I began to hate that you were my mistress. It seemed to give you too much control. You could get up and leave me whenever you wanted, and it drove me crazy, thinking that I was only a check to you. Rather, I was an envelope full of cash. One you didn’t mind earning, but one you didn’t care about keeping. I used to think, “My God. I wonder which job she likes better, making coffee or making my dinner.”
Tunie began to laugh. She laughed so hard he began to laugh with her.
“It’s not funny,” he said, slapping her on the ass in faux punishment.
“It is,” she insisted. “And for the record making your dinner is far more interesting than being a barista ever was. And if it makes you feel any better, all of this scared me too. I would warn myself as I lay in your arms at night that this wasn’t real. That it was an interlude, one you could end with no explanation. But I couldn’t quite make myself believe it. I felt too -”
“Too what,” he asked when she hesitated. “Tell me.”
“I wanted you too much. I thought about making love with you constantly. I think that’s why I was working so hard. When I had my hands full of fabric, and my mind was busy creating whatever the heck it wanted, the ache for you was muted.”
“More,” he demanded.
She gave him a look. “Of course you want to hear about this, me suffering sexually for lack of love. Perv.”
“Lack of love! Bull shit. I made love to you every single night.”
“But what about the days?”
He didn’t have anything to say to that.
“As soon as you left in the morning, I got antsy. Every time the phone rang I ran for it, in case it was you. I didn’t want to miss the chance to hear your voice. I didn’t just hear you; I felt you. My body would get ready for yours as though you were here with me, in the same room. It drove me nuts. I thought I had turned into a sex monster or something.”
“What changed your mind?”
“Nothing. Nothing’s changed, as far as my response to you, I mean. It’s just that now, we’ve admitted that we love each other, and our boundaries have diminished. I’m with you more now than before, and we make love more, and so I’m satisfied.”
She felt him shaking his head. “God. I can’t believe how much time I wasted. I was a coward.”
She shrugged. “Who cares? We’re together now.”
He pulled her a little bit closer. A little bit was all there was. “Yes, we are. And together we will stay. Now tell me more about how much you missed me during the day.”
And Tunie did. She told him how the sound of his deep voice made her wet. She admitted that sometimes she had to masturbate before she could concentrate on anything. How she’d pick up the phone a dozen times to call him, but never had the nerve to do it because she had nothing to say. She just wanted to hear him say her name or ask what she was doing.
“Never hesitate to call me, ever. I always want to hear from you, even if you don’t have anything to say.”
She smiled, knowing he felt it against his skin. “Okay.”
Then she told him how she began to take long walks to burn off excess energy. “Fortunate since I’ve been eating so well lately.”
He squeezed her; he didn’t like to think of her hungry or doing without. “More.”
She told him how she’d plan elaborate recipes for their dinner to keep herself busy and to see him stuff himself and sit back with his big hands on his belly and a satisfied smile on his face.
“I love feeding you. I like watching you smell the air when you come in, how you sneak a peek in the pots when my back is turned. I even like how you sit at the table all expectant, waiting to be served.” She kissed his grin, seeing the flash of his white teeth even in the dark. “I know now why they say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.”
“There’s another route, though. It’s – ”
She clapped a hand over his mouth and they both laughed.
“You know you could never cook again and you’d still have my heart. Although it would be a huge waste if you didn’t,” he hastened to say. “You’ve got real talent. But your culinary skills are not why I love you.”
“I know why you love me.”
“Why?”
“You know.”
“Tell me,” he insisted.
“Because you want me.”
“Desperately,” he agreed, rolling her onto her back and making himself comfortable between her legs.
“You love me because you think I’m funny and cute.”
“Yep.” He tugged her nightgown up and over her head.
“And because you know I’ve got your back and that I’ll always take care of you.”
“Yep, true again.” He leaned in to suck and bite her neck in a way he knew made her melt in his arms like warm chocolate.
“And you love me because I’m fabulous in the sack.”
“Yep. And so you should be. I taught you everything you know,” he teased, nuzzling his favorite spot beneath her ear.
“That’s true,” she laughed.
“How do you know so much?” He kissed her long and thoroughly.
“Because those are all the reasons I love you,” she answered when she got her breath back.
The words seemed to unleash him. He groaned and she felt him probe gently at her entrance. When wet heat greeted his foray he pushed forward and after that first little bit of resistance, slid in easily. He shuddered once he was in, her legs wrapped high and tight around his hips.
“I’ll never get enough of this,” he whispered, stroking long and hard the way she needed him. “Being inside you is the best feeling I’ve ever felt in the world, Tunie. Never take this away from me. Promise,” he insisted when she didn’t answer immediately.
“I, promise.”
Oh boy, can I tell you how much I LOVE this couple?! i CAN’T WAIT TO READ THEIR STORY IN ITS ENTIRETY!
