For me, great romance novel heroes are more than just sexy. Don’t get me wrong. Sexy can drive an entire story. LOL But when the hero has more to offer than just a beautiful face and body, it’s easier to fall in love, you know? I may be crazy, but I want to fall in love with every hero. Otherwise what are book boyfriends for? In this unedited snippet, which picks up where last week’s blog ends, our heroine Sinna considers Tan’s finer qualities. Let me know what you think! I’m planning to publish this book next month.
Oh, and speaking of sexy, the image is Jaehyun from K-pop group NCT 127. He’s rather beautiful, no?
XOXO,
SS
Saint just laughed. “You’ve never had a pussy ailment in your life. You probably bought some brand new, technologically assured condoms right before we left the country – with no intention of using them with your celibate ass – and I could see you scrubbing his ass down with bleach before you even let him touch you.”
Sinna smirked. He cousin knew her well. She did have some new condoms, but she had definitely been thinking about using them, with Tan. “I figured you’d use the condoms.”
“Give ‘em here. I already ran through mine.”
“What? Where you been?”
“Girl, everywhere. These Koreans are thirsty as hell! And they think I’m beautiful,” he shrugged. “I just lay back, let ‘em admire me, wine me, dine me, and suck the cum straight from my dick.”
“You are so nasty. You better be careful,” she warned. “All that glitters ain’t gold.”
“And sometimes all that glitters is gold plate, and that’s good enough for the night,” he shot back. “Tan is a nice guy. I’ve been watching him. He’s genuine, sweet, smart, talented, and from what I’ve heard, rich as fuck from more than idol money. He’s got acting money, endorsement money, music money, producing money and real estate money. He’s perfect for you.”
“You’re talking like he’s husband material, but nothing changes the fact that he’s Korean, he’s our client, and he’s too young for me, Saint.”
“Him being Korean is not the obstacle you’re making it out to be for one very important reason. He is not 100 percent Korean. He’s mixed. And age ain’t nothing but a number, Sinna. Plus, I’ve noticed that a lot of these men in the public eye think nothing of wifing an older woman. And these Koreans aren’t nearly as litigious as we are when it comes to sex in the workplace. Just keep things discrete. Once you have everyone’s approval you’re gold.”
She smirked. “I can’t believe you’re telling me to care about others opinions.”
“When in Rome,” he shot back. “And it was you who said we should care about their opinions in order to make our stay here more comfortable, not me. Besides, you never have any fun! You shouldn’t work your life away. You’re supposed to cut loose sometimes too.”
“I have fun.”
“Have fun with a man. Sexual, naked, happy ending fun with a beautiful, half-blood Korean idol,” he clarified.
She just rolled her eyes. Saint sighed tragically, but Sinna knew his heart was in the right place. It wasn’t like he was wrong. She had been paying close attention to Tan, and she liked what she saw.
He was probably one of the most beautiful men she’d ever seen in her life, but she actually liked him. He was a hard worker and disciplined. He was often absent during rehearsals and meetings due to a very hectic schedule. She’d dressed him for fan meetings in the Philippines, China and Malaysia, and he was promoting his new drama, so there were publicity events.
But she also appreciated the kindness it took for him to meet his obligations with grace. She liked his habitual thoughtfulness, and the patience he displayed despite being under what had to be a good deal of pressure. He was an alluring combination of pure sweetness and unconscious sensuality that drew everyone to him.
If she was fair, all of the members shared that quality, but only Tan made her body react when he was near. He was almost unbearably sexy. Tan was beautiful in a stop and stare before you trip and fall kind of way.
He had a walk that made a woman cross her legs because all the naughty thoughts running through her head had caused a serious tingle. His vain fellow Koreans had put him on a very high pedestal, and their adoration was 100% warranted. It was also why she stayed away.
