I’ve been gone for a minute now I’m back!

Kudos to you if you caught the hip hop reference (Lil Kim – Who I once met at a party like a thousand years ago – anyway) but I’m back!

I hope y’all missed me. I’ve been life-ing and writing but not publishing, which is trash. So, I’m about to change alla that.

I still have an Asian fetish — can you blame me?! Between BL and K-dramas and C-dramas and occasionally even J-dramas, there are just so many faces to enjoy. Right now I’m totally into “My Stand-In.” I found the cutest gif of Joe (played oh so well by Poom Phuripan) for you. I even read a translation of the Chinese book the series was adapted from, his character is that compelling. Check ’em both out.

But back to me. I’m in the middle of the second installment of my Idol Love series. I know, I know. It only took me three frickin’ years. Good night! LOL

Hopefully you remember Bik from Saints and Sinnas? This is his story. Here’s a snippet:

Your little American has teeth. Cong.

Really?? What happened?

Cong relayed the little incident with suitable embellishments, and Bik smirked.

Good! Someone needs to put that wench in her place. Her attitude is ridiculous.

Min Ki’s gonna go after her hard now. Hua.

Not if she knows what’s good for her, Bik muttered, glaring at the stylist who was currently glaring at Vi’s back like she wanted to stab her.

Are you really going to sleep with one of the staff? Hyuk chided. You know how that turned out last time.

That was seven years ago! I can’t believe you even brought it up. And what if I want to keep this one?

You never want to keep them, Tan teased.

“Well, I might change my mind,” he said thoughtfully, staring after his little American.

That night, when he was finally in bed after three meetings and a dinner to schmooze a potential partner, he thought again of his friends’ caution not to mess with a staffer. It was a legitimate gripe. He’d caused no end of noise when he slept with one of their pretty little set dressers all those years ago.

But how could he have predicted how wrong it would all go? She’d seemed so sweet and caring. Then she went crazy so quickly. Shocked was an understatement to describe his reaction to all she got up to when she realized their little rendezvous was just a one off.

It was nuts in hindsight. He’d never given her a hint of a suggestion that he intended to build a permanent anything with her. She’d lost her job and been blackballed from the industry, a fact he regretted but took no personal responsibility for, as he had not actually orchestrated her demise. Her behavior, his manager, and the president of the company were responsible for that.

Hell, when he realized which way the wind was blowing, he warned her more than once to stop it, to let it go and let things die down for both their sakes. All he got for his efforts was a scratch on the cheek when she tried to get close and flew into a rage when he turned away, and myriad bruises when she took her fury at his rebuff out on every part of his body that she could reach. That and a near endless litany of lectures from his managers, members, and everyone else who felt they had a right to dress him down — and there were many. He’d barely survived with his bloody ears intact.

Under no circumstances should he even be thinking the way he was about Vi. But he knew himself; it was already too late. She’d caught his interest. As single-minded as he was, he knew he wouldn’t be able to help himself. If she gave him even the slightest attention, he would pursue her. She intrigued him that much.

His members would strap him into a chastity belt if they knew what he was thinking, but it would be worth it. His blood hadn’t run this hot in so long, Bik was actually enjoying this forbidden attraction.

But it was more than that. He wanted to cuddle Vi, to have her sleep in his arms. He wanted to stroke her bright blue hair, and rub his face in her vanilla scented neck. He’d devoted time speculating how soft her skin would be.

Vi made him want to sing. He’d started to write songs again, she inspired him that much. He’d already sold two to other artists, as the market was literally waiting for his offerings.

No, he was convinced this was something. Vi was someone special to him, and he was determined to find out how…
