Who else can you spill all the juicy details about your new lover to if not your girls? In this week’s snippet from my upcoming “Saints and Sinnas” Sinna’s girls are newly landed in Seoul, and over drinks she gives them a hint of just how her hot new Tan won her over… Let me know what you think!
Oh, the picture is of South Korean actor and unbeknownst to him love of my life Park Seo Joon/Jun ‘cuz my baby just released some new pictures. But can they pick a spelling for his name and go with it? Good night.
XOXO,
SS
Tommy had found Sinna two East Asian clients, male actors, one in his 20s, the other in his early 30s. Both were stars with rapidly growing portfolios, and each had more than a thimbleful of talent as well as expanding attractions outside of Asia. She also had three endorsement deals, one for a Japanese company looking to expand in the U.S., one in China, same script, and the other in South Korea.
“I’m in for the Japan joint,” she said after Tommy pulled a file from her LV bag and handed over a fact sheet that laid out the particulars. “That label is the absolute shit, thank you! Not only am I gonna wear their stuff, I’ma see if I can’t swing some gear for the boys, and these new clients,” she mused. “I might work with the China folks too. Let me look into it some more.”
“Please do. But there’s something that I need you to do now. It’s gonna be fun too, me, you and Lani together.”
“That talk show?”
“Yup.”
“I don’t know, Tommy. The more I think about it, I really don’t want to. Things are heating up around here, and my contract has a no scandal clause, in case you forgot. If I run my mouth who knows what might happen?”
“Stop overthinking it! It’s gonna be in English, and I’ve talked to both hosts, and prepped their asses on how this shit needs to go. They agreed to everything, which means they can’t air shit without my approval. They want you that bad. And don’t give me that shit about talking out of school. Your cold-blooded ass probably won’t even talk, let alone say the wrong thing. Plus, you already got the money from Mr. Big Wig, so you gotta do it.”
Sinna scowled. She disliked being backed into a corner.
“Girl, trust me! They know if they put one foot wrong, these New York bitches will pull the rug right out from under their feet.”
“Hey.” Lani
“You honorary New York when you with us, Chicago.”
Sinna laughed softly. “Why not have Saint do it?”
“It’s not Saint’s company, bitch! Stop tryna hide behind his fly. You act like you ain’t got your own. You’re doing it, and your team will be working like usual in your absence. No harm no foul.
“It’s PR for your business, and my strategy is working,” she said earnestly. “You don’t like this money I’m delivering? Didn’t we say anytime we can get these people to pay for what they steal already we should do it? Did you change your mind about that? I’m shocked. If nothing else I thought you would do it for the culture.”
Sinna held up both hands in defeat. “Okay, okay. No need to pull out the big guns, negro. You’re ruthless.”
Tommy nodded and sipped her wine like, what else is new?
“Now, tell us everything about this man,” Lani ordered, refilling everyone’s glass.
Tommy’s phone rang.
“What, Dominic? Is that my baby crying? What’s wrong with him?”
Lani started counting on her fingers. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7…
“You know what? Bring me my baby. Bring all his shit for tomorrow and mine too, ‘cause you trippin’. Yes, I’m staying here tonight. Maybe you can get a hold to yourself in my absence. No! I don’t wanna hear shit, and hurry up. I’ll see you shortly.”
“Did you just tell that man to bring you his child?” Sinna teased.
“And? Don’t get distracted, heffa. We want the details.”
Good old Tommy.
“Well, long story short, he’s fabulous,” Sinna said simply. “I told you he was a virgin.”
“Yeah. That is like, literally amazing. It’s like finding a rich, well connected unicorn,” Lani shook her head. “These Asian birds must be crazy! Fine as he is? I saw him, I thought, that face belongs on a coin. Confirmed when I learned he’s half Greek. How was the first time?”
Sinna shuddered artistically. “The bomb. And he’s been making up for lost time ever since.”
